FLAMENCO

Flamenco or cante jondo is a fusion of voice, dance and expressions that became popular in Andalusia in the 18th century and has spread to other regions such as Extremadura and Murcia. In 2010, Unesco declared flamenco Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

THE CATHEDRAL

This monument is located in the historical center of the city, but the building itself has never been finished, due to the death of the principal architect, Diego Siloe. He had scheduled the construction of two incredibly tall gothic towers in the main facade, although because of the difficulty of this task, they were never completed, one of them...

THE ALBAICÍN

One of Granada's most iconic neighborhoods, El Albaicín holds the core of the city's past. When the Catholic Monarchs reconquered the city, the monarchs stated that the district would house the remaining Muslim population, a reality we can perceive now in the ancient style of the streets, which shows how much history this place holds.

Federico was born on the 5th of June, 1898, in Granada, Fuente Vaqueros, and died when he was shot by the Francoist's side, on the 18th of August, 1936, in Víznar.

He was born in Cádiz on November 23th, 1876, and died in Alta-Gracia, Argentina, on November 14th, 1946.
